# TecPoster Markdown Quick Start Welcome to TecPoster Markdown Editor. * It supports syntax highlighting of the major programming languages like c/c++, rust, javascript, php. * This editor uses [KaTeX](https://khan.github.io/KaTeX/) to rendering LaTeX mathematical expressions. * It records every modified version of each article. ## Control Panel Click the button on the bottom right corner to open the **control panel**, or press the shortcut of 'ctrl-;' to open the panel. Every operation in TecPoster must be executed by typing commands in commands or by pressing shortcuts. For example here, following the steps to open the "diff panel" to check modification of the current article. 1. Open the contron panel by clicking the button on the bottom right cornor, or by press the shortcut of 'ctrl-;'. 2. Type the keyword 'diff', press 'ctrl-j' to move down, press 'ctrl-k' to move up 3. Press 'enter' to execute the 'diff' command. Or press the shortcut 'ctrl-shift-d'. ## Version Control One goal of TecPoster is tracking every version of every modification of every article of everyone. Right now we can use 'diff panel' to compare the local draft with remote draft and released article. ## Syntax highlighting TecPoster supports syntax highlighting of the major programming languages like c/c++, rust, javascript, python, php, ruby, and so on.
